Yellow Kite is a catering company which aims to improve the health of people of Portsmouth. The social enterprise opened a flagship café at Southsea Castle in May 2011 and caters for all functions and events at the castle, as well as offering an outside catering service. GLOCK worked with Yellow Kite on their branding and café interiors.
Objective
To create a brand and café design which reflects the community-focused ethos of Yellow Kite and positions it as an independent business with something different to offer customers.
Creative strategy
GLOCK was commissioned to create the Yellow Kite brand and apply it across a variety of materials – from menus and café signage to a website and communications materials. We created a flexible brand, which is welcoming and playful but has a clean, professional look, in keeping with Yellow Kite’s business aims.
